                                                       Welcome to:

                                           Witches Cottage and Grove

Come on in and have a seat. I grow all of my own herbs, and many other foods. I also have lots of pets running around in my grove: cats, owls, bats, spiders, as well as many others. I  have some roommates, who you will meet soon.  I will show you many recipes here over time, as well as other kitcheny type stuff. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Some of the recipes on this page are common ones. They are not meant to copy anyone, they have just been done by all of us for so long, that no one even  even knows where they came from. On the other hand, some may be original to us. We just want to share them with you so you can use them for your own parties.

Here is one thing to help get you started:

The Hand in the Punch Bowl:

Fill a latex glove with water or red koolaid. Wrap a rubberband or stings around the open end. Freeze. When frozen, it can be used in place of ice cubes.

Popcorn Hand:

Fill a latex glove with popped popcorn. The popcorn can be tinted red with food coloring.

Witches Flying Brew :

(Sheila contributed this recipe. It is from Silver Ravenwolfs Halloween book.)

1 c. popcorn or cracker jacks

1/2 c. candy corn

1/2 c. small marshmallows

1/2 c. black jelly beans

Mix all ingredients together in a colorful bowl.

Makes 8 servings.
