Pay It Forward Movement. Join in on the fun!

The Pay it Forward Movement is a great thing! Did you read Pay it Forward  book? See the movie?

I saw the movie, and it was great. I had no idea that there was actually a Pay it Forward Movement, until someone posted a link to it on a yahoo group that I am on.

Pay it Forward is about *Random Acts of Kindness* being performed without expecting anything in return.Instead, you do something for three people, and give them each a card to help someone else. The cards can be printed from your computer, and can be found at the  PIF  in schools link on the website. There are also stickers there that can be printed.  You can learn more about it at http://www.payitforwardmovement.org/

I plan to do this with my girls this year. I am wanting to do different things every month or so, but will have to discuss it with them before I start anything. We normally do diffeent things each year to help others.

Now. You may be wondering what this has to do with Halloween. Well, here are some ideas on how to pay it forward for Halloween:

* Buy candy for a family who can't afford to buy some to hand out to children.

* Buy a costume for a needy child, or a family of needy children.

* Throw a Halloween party.tour for needy children, or admission could be uneeded clothing/canned goods/household/personal items to give to needy families.

* Offer to take the children of a single parent who has to work trick-or-treating.

Activity Idea Place: Halloween
